AF Blakemore has expanded its partnership with Snappy Shopper, with more than 70 additional SPAR stores launched on the rapid delivery platform.
The rollout across August and September increased A.F. Blakemore’s Snappy Shopper estate from 95 stores to 167, significantly extending the availability of rapid grocery delivery across its network.
Customers in participating areas will be able to order groceries, everyday essentials, snacks, drinks and household products from their local SPAR for rapid delivery through the SPAR Delivered service, powered by Snappy Shopper technology.
Around 40 of the new stores are located in areas where Snappy Shopper does not currently have another retail partner, bringing the service to new communities and expanding the platform’s geographic reach.
The expansion builds on strong existing demand across A.F. Blakemore’s SPAR estate, with more than 95,000 orders generated in the 12 months to 31 July 2026, alongside an average order value of £30.30. New customer acquisition also increased by 20% year on year.
The expansion is being delivered in phases, with the first stores already live and further locations set to launch each week.
