SPAR and EUROSPAR stores across Northern Ireland have launched an £8 Meal Deal featuring products from local producers, offering a main course and dessert serving three people.
The Big Deal promotion runs from 21 September to 11 October at participating SPAR and EUROSPAR stores, with shoppers able to choose from a selection of family favourites, with savings of up to 20 per cent when products are purchased together as part of the deal.
Main meals include Beef Lasagna, Chicken & Broccoli Bake and Cottage Pie, made with local ingredients and recipes from Cloughbane Farm in County Tyrone.
Dessert options from County Armagh-based Davison’s Simply Puddings include apple crumble, chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding.
Ashley Hillary of SPAR NI said the meals were among shoppers’ favourites and were designed to provide a convenient option for autumn evenings.
“This is the perfect time of year for us to offer our shoppers a simple yet delicious option for tonight’s tea,” she said.

The promotion follows SPAR NI’s launch earlier this year of its new own-brand range, which includes eggs, milk, butter, yoghurts, cheese, pizza, deli products and breads sourced from local farmers and producers.
