LIPTON Teas & Infusions on Wednesday announced the appointment of Grant Reid, former president and chief executive officer of Mars Incorporated, as its new chair effective immediately.
Grant brings extensive global leadership experience, having served as CEO of Mars for nine years and spent more than three decades with the business. During his tenure, he led an ambitious growth strategy that increased sales by more than 50 per cent, while expanding the company’s pet services business and advancing a leadership agenda focused on sustainability, innovation, and long-term value creation.
Grant currently serves on the boards of Vanguard and Marriott International.
From 2021 to 2024, he chaired the Sustainable Markets Initiative Agribusiness Taskforce at the invitation of King Charles III, convening global business leaders to advance regenerative agriculture. He has also served on the board of the Consumer Goods Forum, where he co-chaired the governance committee and co-led the Forest Positive Initiative.
In his new role he will work closely with Marc Busain, who joined LIPTON Teas and Infusions as CEO last October.
