Albert Bartlett has announced a new partnership which brings together two, Scottish-born, British greats with a shared community vision and family values. Andy Murray will help us champion the message that healthy, nutritious food is for everyone, whether you’re an athlete, a busy parent, or simply someone who loves a delicious meal.

Andy first came to know the Albert Bartlett business over a decade ago as the company has been a long-term supplier of potatoes to Cromlix, the five star country house hotel owned by the Murrays in Dunblane.

This new partnership between the two will be multi-faceted, beginning with a brand campaign in which Andy will showcase the ease and quality of the Albert Bartlett fresh, frozen, and chilled potato ranges, giving anyone confidence in the kitchen and fuelling life’s moments from everyday dinners to sporting triumphs.

The partnerships is also a long-term commitment to enable communities across the UK to bring out their best side on the plate and through their participation in sport. Together, we will encourage the nation to enjoy a healthy lifestyle through sport and a balanced diet and help extend Andy’s legacy far beyond the tennis court.

“Andy is someone who has engaged and inspired his home nation and sports fans around the world, delivering that long-awaited British Wimbledon win, not only once, but twice, along with his US Open win and two Olympic golds,” said Alex Bartlett, Albert Bartlett CEO. “So, who better to engage the nation again and help us serve up the inspiration and resource required to get the nation active and nourished with tasty home grown produce.”

Andy Murray said, “I was lucky during my early playing days to have access to the kit and facilities required to play and develop and as my career progressed to have the best diet and training advice available. I am excited to partner with Albert Bartlett to showcase the importance of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle to communities across the UK. I hope the project inspires people to play and enjoy sport throughout their lives, at whatever level they are able.”

The extended relationship will also see the food partnership grow with Cromlix, where new activity will inspire the foodie following of both brands.
