JET has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Porters Garage in Grimsby, marking the first site in VST Group’s portfolio to join the fuel brand following a recommendation from an existing dealer.
The forecourt on Barnoldby Road reopened to the public on 22 May after being acquired and redeveloped by Vijay Jaganathan, director of VST Forecourts Ltd and Eling Ltd.
The site had previously been closed, with Jaganathan investing in new fuel pumps and a refit of the Londis convenience store as part of the reopening.
Alongside fuel, the forecourt offers groceries, fresh vegetables and household products, as well as food-to-go options including a Costa Coffee machine, Rollover hot dogs, pizza and Country Choice products. A PayPoint ATM is also available on site.
Porters Garage becomes the 10th site in VST Group’s wider portfolio and the first to operate under the JET brand.
Jaganathan said the decision to join JET had been influenced by a recommendation from a long-standing dealer already operating within the network.
“JET came recommended to us at the right time, and that counted for a lot,” he said.
“Confidence in the relationship and the support on offer helped shape the decision to bring Porters Garage, a new addition to the portfolio, into the JET network.”

The retailer is also planning a larger redevelopment of the Grimsby site within the next 18 to 24 months as part of a longer-term investment strategy.
Martin Smith, retail account manager at Phillips 66 Limited, said the agreement highlighted the continued importance of relationships and referrals within the forecourt sector.
“Trust and word-of-mouth still carry real weight in this industry,” he said.
