Coffee King has appointed Somnath Saha as its new Managing Director as the business enters its next phase of growth across retail, foodservice and manufacturing.
Somnath brings over 25 years of leadership experience across FMCG, manufacturing and retail. He joins from Typhoo Tea, where he served as CEO and led a successful transformation of the business, driving growth, establishing the global brand positioning, returning the company to profitability and developing major private label business with the retailers.
He held several senior leadership roles including Group Commercial Director at Poundstretcher and Managing Director at Usha Martin UK, with extensive experience across manufacturing, supply chain, commercial strategy and retail.
Coffee King operates a large-scale coffee roasting facility in Deeside, alongside a growing bakery capability and an expanding retail coffee shop proposition, providing a strong platform for the business’s continued development.
