Former Lidl UK chief Ronny Gottschlich joins Co-op board

The Co-operative Group on Thursday announced that Ronny Gottschlich, former CEO of Lidl UK, will be joining its board as an independent non-executive director.

Gottschlich has been the chief executive of Lidl UK between 2010 and 2016, and held many senior leadership roles for the Schwarz Group, Lidl’s parent, in multiple European markets.


He later founded Heunadel Retail Advisory and served as the chief commercial officer of the rapid grocery delivery app Gorillas .
