Payzone secures partnerships with Thames Water, Omni

Payzone has secured a long-term deal with leading water and wastewater services provider Thames Water.

This partnership will enable Thames Water customers across London, the Thames Valley and surrounding areas to pay their water bill at a Payzone store from 30 April.

“We’re delighted that we can extend our portfolio of utility providers by welcoming Thames Water to our Payzone network. We hope that this partnership will enable Thames Water customers to make payments with convenience and ease at a Payzone store,” commented Simon Lambert, Commercial Director for Payzone Bill Payments Limited

Payzone advised retailers that Thames Water payment cards without a Payzone logo can still be used on a Payzone device.

The deal closely follows Payzone’s recent partnership with Omni, a fast-growing energy supplier which focuses on delivering an easy and convenient way to pay for prepayment and PAYG smart meter customers.

Payzone retailers across England, Wales and Scotland will now be able to process top-up payments for the supplier, extending their portfolio of utility transactions further.

“We are excited to welcome a Prepay focused, fast-growing energy company who are passionate about improving the level of service to prepayment and pay-as-you-go customers. With a focus on providing simplicity and ease for customers, along with green energy, Omni has a distinctive USP that will engage customers,” Lambert added.
