PayPoint Group has formed a strategic partnership with loyalty technology specialist MLP to help businesses improve customer engagement while lowering the cost of running reward programmes.
The partnership combines MLP's loyalty and engagement technology with PayPoint's rewards portfolio, including Love2shop, PayPoint Engage and MBL gift card solutions, giving organisations access to hundreds of reward options through a single supplier.
The companies said the collaboration is designed to help businesses reduce programme costs through retailer-funded rewards, simplify the delivery of loyalty schemes and improve customer retention.
The partnership is initially targeting opportunities across the financial services, utilities and retail sectors, where businesses are looking for more cost-effective ways to engage and retain customers.
Nick Wiles, chief executive of PayPoint Group, said businesses were seeking reward programmes that deliver results while offering consumers greater choice.
"Together with MLP, we're making it easier for organisations to access a wider range of rewards, reduce programme costs and improve customer engagement through a single solution," he said.
Simon Jamieson, managing director of MLP, said the partnership would strengthen the company's loyalty offering.
"Our clients want reward programmes that are simple, effective and deliver measurable outcomes. By partnering with PayPoint, we can offer significantly greater choice while helping clients improve engagement and maximise value from their investment," he said.
