Decongestant brand Olbas, owned by Gloucester-based family business Lanes Health, is sponsoring a new garden at the newly launched RHS Badminton Flower Show.
Designed by award-winning garden designer, Joshua Fenton of Fenton Gardens, the Electuary draws inspiration from traditional herbal remedies, rural craftsmanship and the enduring relationship between people, plants and wellbeing.
Opening to the public at the Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire from 8 – 12 July, RHS Badminton Flower Show provides a unique backdrop for the garden that celebrates botanical heritage and the restorative power of nature, just a short distance from the Gloucestershire home of Olbas and Lanes Health.
Inspired by the historic herbal preparations from which it takes its name, the Electuary brings together aromatic planting, pollinator-friendly habitats, traditional countryside crafts and an Oast House, designed for drying herbs. Together, these elements explore how generations have turned to plants for comfort, care and everyday wellbeing.
The partnership reflects the heritage of Olbas, which has helped families to breathe more easily for generations through products inspired by carefully selected botanical ingredients.
“For more than 90 years, our family business has believed in the enduring value of natural ingredients and trusted remedies that help support everyday wellbeing," said Jonathan Groves, Executive Chairman of Lanes Health
“The Electuary celebrates that same connection between people, plants and wellbeing and the restorative qualities of nature in the same way that my great-grandfather, Gilbert Lane, saw when he created Lanes Health, and is just as timeless and relevant today.
“As a Gloucestershire family business, we are particularly proud to work with the incredibly talented Fenton Gardens at RHS Badminton Flower Show and celebrate our botanical heritage.”
Joshua Fenton, founder of Fenton Gardens, said: “I’m thrilled to be partnering with Olbas – a brand I’ve trusted since childhood, one that has cleared my head and my senses more times than I can count. The ethos behind Olbas and Lanes Health aligns seamlessly with our own commitment to nature‑led wellbeing and thoughtful, restorative design, making this collaboration feel both natural and deeply meaningful.”
The partnership also comes at a time when many people are looking for ways to enjoy spending more time outdoors during hay fever season. Through its range of decongestion products, including the recently launched Olbas Anti Allergy Nasal Spray, Olbas continues to support families through seasonal challenges that can sometimes get in the way of enjoying the outdoors.
