Leading energy drink brand Red Bull is bringing a frosty new addition to its flavoured Energy line-up with the launch of Red Bull Glacier Edition.

Featuring the flavour of Frosted Raspberry, the new variant will be available exclusively to Booker retailers and in Tesco stores from 12th October, ahead of a wider roll-out planned for early next year.

Flavoured energy remains a major growth driver, having outperformed unflavoured energy and gained share over the past three years. The launch builds on this demand and follows the latest Red Bull Winter Edition Pistachio and Berries, introduced in September, giving shoppers even more reasons to buy as they explore new tastes for new occasions.

A full-sugar variant, the Red Bull Glacier Edition is available in a range of plain and price-marked packs, with the 250ml can providing an accessible entry format and the 473ml can offering loyal shoppers a trade-up option. Together, the formats cater to different consumer needs and give retailers multiple ways to meet shopper demand.

Red Bull Editions have played a central role in the category momentum, delivering year-on-year growth and attracting a strong shopper base as the portfolio continues to expand with rate of sale increasing with every seasonal launch.

With penetration and awareness continuing to grow, 60% of energy drinkers are now aware of Red Bull Editions, while the brand’s NPD ranks among the best-selling launches across FMCG.

This demonstrates Red Bull’s ability to recruit shoppers, drive trial and generate incremental sales, while reinforcing the strength of the range and the significant opportunity for retailers that give seasonal NPD the right space and visibility. Together these factors make a compelling case to stock the new Red Bull Glacier Edition.

The full Red Bull Glacier Edition line-up and RSPs include:

  • Red Bull The Glacier Edition 250ml - £1.80
  • Red Bull The Glacier Edition 250ml PMC - £1.75
  • Red Bull The Glacier Edition 473ml - £2.85
  • Red Bull The Glacier Edition 473ml PMC - £2.80
  • Red Bull The Glacier Edition 4 x 250ml Multipack - £5.75
