The highest official accolade which can be bestowed upon a UK-based company, The King’s Award is conferred annually by His Majesty the King, upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
In order to be eligible for a King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, businesses must, amongst other criteria, demonstrate outstanding growth in overseas earnings; the Award accordingly celebrates outstanding achievement in international trade, and highlights the vital contributions of businesses to the UK’s economy through global commerce.
