Sugro UK, the member-owned buying and marketing group comprising of over 90 independent wholesalers, is delighted to announce that one of its Members, Star Pacific UK Ltd, has been awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade 2025, marking the third such occasion for the company.
Earlier, it has also received the King’s Award in 2023, and the Queen’s Award in 2021.
The highest accolade which a UK-based company can receive for contributions to international Trade, The King’s Award for Enterprise is awarded annually by His Majesty the King, upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister, to businesses which have demonstrated excellence in international trade and made a significant contribution to the UK economy.
Founded in 2010 and based in the bustling business district of West London in close proximity to Heathrow Airport, Star Pacific UK Ltd is a leading, UK-based wholesale company which markets and distributes FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) on an international basis; Star Pacific works directly with Suppliers and Manufacturers to establish high-quality coverage across global markets, enabling them to showcase Great British Foods globally.
As a member of the Sugro UK buying group, Star Pacific are able to work closely with various brand owners, with whom they have forged excellent working relationships; Star Pacific have expressed that both Sugro UK and the brand owners form the backbone of the supply chain, without which support, they would not be receiving this recognition.
