Greens Retail sees continued expansion across Scotland

Greens on the Go store by Greens Retail

Greens Retail, one of Scotland’s fastest-growing convenience retail businesses, has been recognised across four major UK growth and performance indexes in 2025, underlining its continued expansion, job creation and strong founder-led business model.

The Fife-based business has been named in the FEBE Growth 100, which recognises the 100 fastest-growing, founder-led, privately owned businesses in the UK. All companies listed are profitable and report annual turnover between £3 million and £200 million.

Greens Retail has also been included in the E2E Job Creation 100 – Track 2025, which highlights the top 100 UK businesses for job creation. This index recognises companies that have delivered significant employment growth over their last two filing periods, reported more than £10 million in turnover across the past two years, and employ at least 100 people.

Further recognition comes from the UK Fast Growth Index, where Greens Retail has been ranked among the Top 50 fastest-growing companies in Scotland in 2025. The company has also secured a place in the Top 20 fastest-growing Wholesale and Retail businesses in the United Kingdom.

Future Growth Plans

Greens Retail has confirmed plans for continued expansion across Scotland. Following the successful launch of Greens On The Go in Edinburgh this year, the business plans to roll out the first-to-industry "foodvenience" concept to multiple locations across Scotland next year.

In parallel, Greens Retail is progressing plans for the opening of additional Greens Retail stores in key communities and high-footfall locations across Scotland.

"Being recognised across multiple growth and job creation indexes is a significant milestone for our business," said MD Harris Aslam. "It reflects the hard work of our teams, the strength of our partnerships and our commitment to sustainable growth. The success of Greens On The Go in Edinburgh, has given us confidence to accelerate our expansion plans, with more sites and new store openings planned across Scotland.”
