As Notting Hill Carnival celebrates its landmark 60th anniversary, Grace Foods UK, the UK's leading supplier of Caribbean food and drink, returns as the event's official food and drink partner for a third consecutive year, helping fuel one of London's most iconic cultural celebrations.
Few events have done more to celebrate Caribbean culture in Britain than Notting Hill Carnival, showcasing Caribbean music, mas, food and community since 1966.
As the 60th anniversary approaches, renewed attention has been focused on the Carnival's rich cultural heritage and the importance of preserving the traditions, creativity and community spirit that have made it Europe's largest street festival.
For 2026, Grace Foods UK will put authentic Caribbean food firmly at the heart of its Carnival activity, partnering with three leading jerk vendors to bring festival-goers a true taste of the Caribbean.
The partnerships build on Grace Foods UK's support for the UK's first Jerk Festival with a competition element earlier this summer, creating a natural journey from the first Jerk Festival to Notting Hill Carnival and continuing the company's commitment to championing the people, food and flavours that are central to Caribbean culture.
Vendors including Jerk Shack, Jerk Village and Yard to Yard will help showcase authentic jerk and Caribbean cuisine throughout the Carnival weekend.
With more than two million people are expected to descend on the streets of west London this August, Grace Foods UK will once again play a vital role behind the scenes and on the Carnival route, providing food and refreshments for the organisers, judges, stewards, volunteers and performers whose dedication brings the world-famous event to life each year.
The partnership unites two British brands with deep Caribbean heritage, combining the UK's biggest Caribbean food and drink company with Europe's largest street festival. While Notting Hill Carnival celebrates six decades of Caribbean culture in Britain, Grace Foods UK is approaching its own milestone 20th anniversary in 2027.
Its parent company, GraceKennedy, has been serving Caribbean communities for more than a century, while iconic hot sauce brand Encona recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Grace Foods UK was also proud to provide the food and refreshments at the official launch of Notting Hill Carnival's 60th anniversary celebrations, welcoming organisers, performers, community leaders and invited guests as the landmark year was unveiled.
The event celebrated Carnival's extraordinary cultural legacy and set the tone for a summer of events marking six decades of one of Britain's most important celebrations of Caribbean culture.
At the heart of the celebrations over the August Bank Holiday weekend will be The Tabernacle, Carnival's headquarters, where Grace Foods UK will provide food and refreshments for organisers, officials and guests. The company will also support the judges and hundreds of stewards working across the event, ensuring those responsible for delivering Carnival safely and successfully are kept fuelled throughout the weekend.
Grace Foods UK is also strengthening its partnerships with some of Carnival's best-known mas bands. As part of its collaboration with Island Mas, the company will provide breakfast and lunch for performers and support teams before they take to the streets, while also supporting bands including Omnia, Chocolate Mas, GT Flex and Magical Mas.
Throughout Carnival weekend, organisers, performers and volunteers will enjoy products from across the Grace Foods UK portfolio, including Grace Tropical Rhythms, Grace Coconut Water, Grace Mighty Malt, Grace Say Aloe, Grace Plantain Chips, Encona sauces and Dunn's River seasonings.
Brian Mitchell, Managing Director of Grace Foods UK, said: "Notting Hill Carnival is one of the most important celebrations of Caribbean culture anywhere in the world, so it is a privilege for Grace Foods UK to support this landmark 60th anniversary as the official food and drink partner.
"Our brands have been part of Caribbean family life for generations and Carnival provides a unique opportunity to celebrate that heritage while supporting the volunteers, organisers, performers and communities whose passion has helped make the event what it is today. We are proud to play our part in helping fuel this incredible celebration.
"It was an honour to provide the food for the official launch of the 60th anniversary celebrations, bringing together the people who have helped shape Carnival's remarkable story over the past six decades. We look forward to supporting everyone who makes this unforgettable celebration possible over the August Bank Holiday weekend."
