FUNKIN COCKTAILS, one of the UK’s leading cocktail brands, has launched a Spritz range with three vibrant flavours – Sangria, Elderflower and Limoncello.

The latest NPD is FUNKIN’s best-tested range yet – designed to drive incremental value, recruit new shoppers and capitalise on the demand for lighter, more sessionable drinks. With the Spritz category booming, now worth £2.6 million and outpacing both the low and no, and alcopop categories, the range extension targets one of RTD’s fastest-growing segments.


The range taps into growing consumer demand for provenance-led flavours, with 80 per cent of Spritz drinkers citing heritage as a driver of choice – from Italian-inspired Limoncello and Elderflower to Spanish-style Sangria - premium flavours that increase in popularity during warmer months. Each is designed to bring greater diversity to the range and attract flavour-led shoppers with a new proposition, look and feel, and flavours.

Launching into the crucial spring and summer sales period, the new variants are positioned to capitalise on evolving social occasions starting earlier in the day – from brunches and picnics to BBQs and festivals - moments where demand is rising for longer, lighter serves.

At 4.5% ABV and with a longer serve than the brand’s Nitro-infused cocktails, FUNKIN’s Spritz range taps into the growing Low Alcohol Drinks category, contributing 8% to overall segment growth. Delivering a refreshing, easy-drinking option for all-day socialising, the range enables retailers to unlock incremental spend across multiple occasions.

FUNKIN first launched its Spritz range in 2025, with the latest additions further strengthening its position in the fast-growing category and helping to drive sales for retailers over summer.
