Funkin Cocktails introduces non-alcoholic alternatives

Funkin Cocktails introduces non-alcoholic alternatives

Cocktail brand Funkin Cocktails is shaking up its ready-to-drink offering with the launch of an alcohol-free version.

Funkin Cocktails Alcohol Free Passion Fruit Martini will bring punchy, passion fruit pizazz to parties and picnics alike. Offering cocktail devotees a chance to choose an alcohol free alternative, without forsaking flavour, the latest innovation will also increase appeal for the cocktail category amongst non-drinkers.

Made with real fruit, the new cocktail will be available in the brand’s signature nitro format, guaranteeing a velvety, bar-quality pour each and every time.

The recipe is inspired by the brand’s bestselling Passion Fruit Martini Nitro Can. The number one UK RTD cocktail, worth £6.7m, this SKU sold over half a million more cans than the next bestseller across total retail last year and represents £1 in every £3 spent on cocktails.

Hot on the heels of its B-Corp certification, the launch also marks the first foray into the non-alcoholic category in the brand’s 24-year history.

This comes as Funkin Cocktails sets its sights on delivering premium quality, taste, and even more variety to the zero per cent category, offering shoppers a satisfying sip that tastes just as good as its alcoholic counterpart.

“The no and low category is clearly growing, particularly among younger shoppers , as more people choose to moderate their drinking habits,” said Ben Anderson, Funkin Cocktails’ Marketing Director.

“Our Passion Fruit Martini can is the runaway leader of the cocktail category. This is exactly why we’ve taken on the challenge of mixing up the same serve packed with all the punchy flavours shoppers know and love – only this time, without the alcohol, so everyone can get involved.

“What’s so special about the cocktail category is that it comes with a real sense of occasion – when the round of Passion Fruit Martinis is poured, that’s when a get-together becomes a proper event.

“By perfecting the alcohol-free version of this iconic cocktail, this feeling will be something everyone can share, whether they’re drinking a little less frequently, or abstaining altogether.”
