Frozen fruit snacking brand Froot pops, confirmed a new national listing with Co-op today. The retailer will be rolling out two SKUs, Strawberries in White & Milk Chocolate and Raspberries in White & Dark Chocolate, across 1,600 stores from October. The new listing marks a new milestone in the brand’s journey, with sales up 400 per cent year-on-year as it continues its expansion across UK grocery.
The Co-op listing follows the brand's recent launch with Tesco Northern Ireland, where four SKUs launched in 35 regional stores last month as the brand continues to scale its retail presence and build distribution. In just two years, Froot Pops secured nationwide listings with Morrisons, Ocado, GoPuff, Zapp and Selfridges, all while building its very own London manufacturing facility where every pop is now made. The brand is also available in more than 300 independents across the UK sold through wholesale distributors including OnTheRocks and CLF.
“The Co-op listing is a huge milestone for Froot Pops and gives us the opportunity to bring the brand to even more shoppers across the UK,” said Founder Ana Martins. “We’ve had an incredible year so far, and to have the support of Co-op is a really exciting next step for the brand as we continue to build our distribution.”
