The East of England Co-op has announced a further expansion to their Snappy Shopper service, taking their number of sites available on the platform to 15.

This decision follows a successful pilot that began in five stores across the region in November.

The Snappy Shopper orders will continue to be fulfilled through a technical agreement with Nash, an AI infrastructure for logistics company, who will coordinate deliveries on behalf of the East of England Co-op using courier partners including Stuart, Uber Direct and Just Eat Go.

East of England Co-op said this approach provides a more scalable, sustainable and efficient grocery delivery model, allowing the retailer to expand its reach without the need to operate its own delivery vehicles.

“We're delighted to add another 10 sites to our Snappy Shopper network,” Simon Dryell, chief commercial officer, said.

“Making shopping as convenient as possible is vitally important to us as a business and this partnership with Snappy Shopper, helps deliver even more convenience to our members and customers.”
