Booker has on Friday recalled Jack’s Mature Cheddar & Red Onion Hand Cooked Crisps because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
The 120g packs with the best before date of 17 January 2026 are being recalled from stores.
Booker has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to retailers. Consumers who have bought the above product and are allergic or intolerant to milk or milk constituents are advised not to eat it. They can return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
