Asda is to install up to 700 InPost parcel lockers across its UK store estate as part of a new partnership aimed at giving customers greater flexibility to send, collect and return parcels.
The lockers will be rolled out across a mix of Asda superstores, supermarkets and Express locations, allowing customers to manage parcel deliveries while doing their shopping.
The partnership represents one of InPost’s largest UK retail deals to date and will expand access to its out-of-home delivery network, which currently comprises more than 16,000 lockers across the UK.
The move comes as demand grows for out-of-home delivery options, with consumers increasingly seeking flexibility over when and where they collect, send and return parcels.
For Asda, the rollout forms part of its wider investment in services designed to increase convenience for shoppers by allowing them to complete multiple tasks during a single store visit.
