Organic food supplier Windmill Organics, is launching a new HFSS-compliant protein-filled snack range, as well as two new kombuchas, all available now.
First of the new additions is the organic ProFusion Protein Puffs, which bridge the gap between wholefood and functional snacking. Available in both Paprika & Himalayan Salt and Lemon & Black Pepper variants (with more to follow), they combine on-trend flavours with organic, plant-based ingredients and no artificial additives.
The UK kombucha market is now worth £33mdriven by strong demand for premium, low-sugar and gut-friendly soft drinks. Windmill Organics is introducing three new organic kombuchas across its Biona and RAW Vibrant Living brands. Under Biona there is a new Passion Fruit & Lemon kombucha, while RAW Vibrant Living is launching two organic kombuchas – Peach and Apple & Blackberry.
“Protein and functional drinks remain two of the most dynamic areas in grocery, with retailers are increasingly looking for options that meet HFSS requirements and respond to growing scrutiny around ultra-processed foods," said Gemma Williams, Head of Marketing at Biona’s parent company Windmill Organics. "Our new ProFusion Protein Puffs bring organic, wholefood protein into the mainstream crisp aisle, while our kombucha range allows retailers to premiumise soft drinks with organic, low-sugar options that align with demand for gut health and clean-label credentials.”
