Unitas has expanded its Local Living own brand range with the launch of a new home baking line, giving independent retailers a simple way to tap into one of the UK’s most popular at-home categories.
The three SKU range comprises Local Living Cupcake Kit (PMP £2.29), Local Living Brownie Mix (PMP £1.99) and Local Living Batter Mix (PMP £0.69), offering retailers a ready-made baking range built around simple, easy-to-use mixes for the whole family to enjoy at home.
The launch comes as data shows that own brand is the number one range in home baking by volume*, underlying the strength of demand for the category among independent retailers and their customers.
Alongside strong sales performance, the new range delivers up to 45% POR for retailers, making it a straightforward way to boost margin while offering shoppers genuine value.
The home baking launch forms part of Unitas’ wider commitment to doubling the size of the Local Living range, bringing more everyday essentials, for less, to retailers and their customers alike.
To support the wider Local Living range, Unitas has also launched a new dedicated Own Brand Portal, giving members greater visibility of products, promotions and updates, and a more seamless way to view and order stock across the range.
