Sweet Freedom launches nut-free ‘hazelnot’ spread for health-conscious consumers

Choc Pot Hazelnot – a nut-free, plant-based chocolate spread from Sweet Freedom

Nut-free Choc Pot Hazelnot by Sweet Freedom

Sweet Freedom, a brand known for its naturally sweetened and plant-based alternatives, is set to expand its popular Choc Pot range with the launch of Choc Pot Hazelnot – a nut-free hazelnut-style spread boasting no palm oil, no refined sugar, and significantly lower calories than leading brands.

Responding to the growing demand for allergy-friendly and healthier indulgent options, Choc Pot Hazelnot promises the classic creamy chocolate-hazelnut flavour without a single nut. This innovative spread is manufactured in a dedicated nut-free facility, ensuring safety for consumers with nut allergies.

Sweetened naturally with fruit (apple and carob), Choc Pot Hazelnot contains no palm oil, no refined sugar, and no artificial sweeteners. With just 15 calories per teaspoon, it presents a healthier alternative for families seeking a guilt-free treat.

“Choc Pot Hazelnot has taken time to get just right, but we couldn’t be happier with the result,” Deborah Pyner, co-founder of Sweet Freedom, said.

“It’s unbelievably creamy, indulgent and delicious – yet totally natural and a great choice for anyone avoiding nuts. It’s our cheeky (and healthier) take on a certain popular spread… and we know you're going to love it."

Choc Pot Hazelnot will soon be available for consumers via the Sweet Freedom website at a recommended retail price of £3.35.

For trade customers, Choc Pot Hazelnot is available to order now at £20.10 for a case of six through the Sweet Freedom website and via the online wholesale marketplace, Faire.

Choc Pot Hazelnot joins Sweet Freedom's existing Choc Pot range, including Original and Caramel flavours, all of which are plant-based and fruit-sweetened.
