SPAR to support Disability Sport Wales in new partnership

SPAR wholesaler A.F. Blakemore has entered into a partnership with Disability Sport Wales.

The three-year-deal will see the company supporting the insport series events across Wales as National Community Partner of Disability Sport Wales.

The insport series is a range of events give disabled people the opportunity to try a range of sports all at one venue and find out about local sports clubs.

“It is a privilege to be working with a partner such as SPAR to deliver these powerful events – through their support Disability Sport Wales will be able to enhance the connection between disabled people and physical activity (including sport) of their choice, which is provided locally. It is a really exciting opportunity,” said Fiona Reid, chief executive of Disability Sport Wales.

Blakemore said its colleagues across the company-owned and independent SPAR stores will be involved in volunteering for the series.
