Rhum Clément, the Martinique-based spirits house and a cornerstone of the "agricole" world since 1887, has unveiled a new proprietary glass bottle across its aged rum range. Distributed in the UK by Mangrove Global, part of the SPIRIBAM Group, the redesign balances contemporary elegance with the heritage and craftsmanship that have defined the brand for more than 135 years.

Developed in collaboration with renowned glassmaker Saverglass and design studio Linéa, the new silhouette is sleek and contemporary but still showcases the distinctive sharp shoulder that has defined Clément bottles for generations. The name "Clément" and the founding year "1887" are now engraved directly into the glass itself; a quiet but powerful reminder that this brand is imbued with no less than 135 years of Martinican heritage.


“Rhum Clément is a Mangrove spirit through and through – the liquid is exceptional; a rum that’s rooted in the unique terroir of Martinique and crafted with an attention to detail that you can taste in every expression," said Mangrove's rum-loving MD Nick Gillett.

The redesign is heritage-led and carries real shelf authority, while the sustainability credentials demonstrate that this is a house thinking seriously about its future as well as its past. Lighter bottle, lighter footprint

The new bottle is on average 23 per cent lighter than the outgoing format, an impressive reduction that cuts emissions across both glass manufacturing and transportation. Direct glass screen printing has also been removed, improving recyclability, and all labels now use FSC-certified papers with carefully selected inks. It's the kind of thoughtful, practical sustainability commitment that makes a huge difference – the kind that spirit brands should be applauded for!

Alongside the new bottle comes a stylish refresh to the range’s colourway. Clément's signature green anchors the collection, with cream and green tones on the flagship V.O, while the higher maturations shift through copper, gold and amber hues that neatly reflect their depth and age. It helps new drinkers to navigate the range – and it looks great too.
