Pilgrims Choice, the UK’s No.2 cheddar brand, is set to tap into the rapidly growing adult snacking category with the launch of its new Dip & Dunk snack pots. The new range of bold, full of flavour, cheese snacks features sticks of moreish Pilgrims Choice cheese and exciting taste-bud tingling dips made from the very best ingredients, all in a convenient format that fits modern lifestyles.

The new Pilgrims Choice Dip & Dunk range consists of:


  • Pilgrims Choice Dip & Dunk Cheddar with Roasted Red Pepper dip – rich and creamy Pilgrims Choice Cheddar sticks complemented by a sweet and gently smoky Roasted Red Pepper dip
  • Pilgrims Choice Dip & Dunk Red Leicester with Mango Chutney dip - savoury and nutty Pilgrims Choice Red Leicester sticks balanced with a deliciously fruity and spicy Mango Chutney dip

The new Pilgrims Choice Dip & Dunk snack pots will be sold later this year in vibrantly colourful packs (3 x 52g) with a £2.85 RRSP.

The launch of the Pilgrims Choice Dip & Dunk snack pots comes at a time of rapid growth in the adult snacking category. Latest research shows that sales of adult-orientated snacks are increasing by eight per cent year on year. This growth is led by Millennials and Gen Zs with nearly three quarters of them reaching for snacks at least once a day. While 69 per cent of parents opt for different snacks to their children, further driving demand for adult-focused formats that offer convenience, quality, and taste.

However, while Adults are snacking more, they are also feeling under‑served by bland and often over‑processed options, all issues that natural, great tasting, cheese is well placed to address. Snacking is now one of the fastest growing sub sectors within the cheese category with 39 per cent of UK Adults already choosing Cheese as a natural, satisfying, savoury snack. The timely arrival of the Pilgrims Choice Dip & Dunk range will see the brand tap into this trend by delivering a natural, tasty and satisfying Cheese snack in a convenient pack, easy to use straight from the fridge and on the go.
