Pakistan salt brand adds savour to UK sector

Pakistan salt

A Pakistani salt brand is expanding into the UK as demand for Himalayan salt and premium food ingredients continues to grow.

The Rites of Salt is a UK challenger salt brand built around a simple idea: provenance with a receipt, not provenance as theatre.

The Pink Himalayan Salt is sourced from Kalabagh, Pakistan, within Pakistan’s Punjab Salt Range. The brand independently tests its products and publishes supporting reports as they clear, deliberately avoiding the usual category mythology around “miracle minerals”, detox claims and vague premium provenance.

Pakistan is one of the world’s best-known sources of Himalayan pink salt, yet UK shelves often reduce that provenance to a generic “Himalayan” story. The Rites of Salt believes there is room for a British challenger brand that actually names the source, shows the evidence, and builds a modern retail proposition around it.

The current UK range includes edible Pink Himalayan Salt, Natural Sea Salt and Bath Salts, with the core edible Pink Himalayan line at: 450g — £6.50 RRP, 900g — £9.99 RRP.
