One Stop launches ‘Prices Kept Low’ campaign

One Stop has launched a new value campaign across its company-owned and franchised convenience stores, reducing prices on 37 everyday products and maintaining existing prices on a further 24 lines.

The ‘Prices Kept Low’ initiative covers 61 products across grocery, bakery, snacks and household essentials, with reductions of up to 17%. Almost 40% of the range will be priced below £1.

The campaign includes a combination of One Stop own-label products and brands such as Warburtons, Kellogg’s, Nescafé, Cadbury, Huggies, Fairy, Alberto Balsam, Wall’s, Branston and Hartley’s.

The campaign by the Tesco-owned convenience store will be supported by in-store marketing materials, including external banners, window posters and shelf signage.

One Stop noted that the initiative is designed to reinforce its value proposition and encourage customers to purchase everyday essentials locally.

The inclusion of franchise stores also provides independent operators within the One Stop network with a centrally supported pricing campaign aimed at increasing footfall and basket spend.

Nigel Prendergast, Head of Customer Marketing and Business Support at One Stop, commented, “In our latest campaign we’ve really concentrated on products our that customers buy the most, with 61 lines either cut or held at their existing low prices across our entire estate – providing a strong value message for our franchise partners too!

“Convenience shoppers want to know they can get everyday essentials at a competitive price close to home, and our ‘Prices Kept Low’ campaign does exactly what it says. With the campaign visible at every touchpoint in store, from the street to the shelf, it will certainly stand out.”
