Niza Group, owned and run by Visvanathan Ragunathan, has acquired a well-known forecourt business in south west.
John Stayte Services comprises three petrol filling stations, a Calor Gas supply business, and six retail outlets located across the region, as well as a head office and main depot located in the village of Eastington, Gloucester.
Originally founded by John Stayte in 1966, the business grew quickly and was passed down to his children, with Mike Stayte running the company for 38 years, increasing the number of sites over the last few decades.
The business is one of the largest bottled gas suppliers in Gloucester, utilising its outlets across the region and fleet of HGVs to service local customers. Supplied by Valero/Texaco, the three forecourts sit within close proximity to the head office.
Niza Group was looking to increase their petrol station group and diversify their portfolio.
A spokesperson for Niza Group commented, “We are delighted with this latest acquisition with the petrol stations located in a strategically important area for us.
"This now takes our group to 15 fuel sites and 14 independent stores across England and Wales.
