Nisa launches ‘Fun in the Garden’ summer promotion

Independent retailer Nisa and their partners have released a new alfresco dining essentials range, named the Fun in the Garden event, as part of the summer season for 2020.

The promotion, which is available in stores, aims to encouraging shoppers to make the most of the hot British weather at home while maintaining social distancing measures remain in place.


Lockdown has resulted in a huge trend of people spending more time outdoors, resulting in a rise of purchases of barbeque, outdoor dining and gardening products.

The event presents everything shoppers could need for a successful family barbeque including; Co-op Cheese and Bacon Quiche (350g) for £1.80, 8 x Richmond Thick Pork Sausages (410g) at £2.50, 4 x Co-op Pork and Chorizo Burger (284g) at £2.60, 6 x The Deli Sesame Burger Buns at £1.05 and Heritage Premium Coleslaw (250g) for £1.

A variety of vegetarian and vegan options are also featured, including Co-op Halloumi (225g) at £2.79, Quorn Vegan Smokey Ham slices (100g) at £2.15 and the Sizzlin’ Sausages from the Co-op GRO range (350g) for £3.

Alcohol beverages include a selection of beers and ciders from 8 x 500ml Bulmers Original bottles at £8, 20 x 300ml Amstel Bier bottles at £10, 18 x 330ml, to San Miguel bottles at £15, 20 x 330ml Coors Light bottles at £14.

Pringles for £1.50 a tube and a variety of Kettle Ridge Cut crisp flavours at £1 each make up the table snacks included in the deal.

Head of marketing at Nisa, Philippe Rondepierre said: “People less likely to be going away on their summer holiday this year and are unable to celebrate popular key summer events, like graduations and festivals, so they will be looking for other means of fun at home.

“Nisa partners are being given everything they need to make sure shoppers can still enjoy their summer, even if it is being spent a bit closer to home.”
