Teams from across the newstrade are being invited to go head-to-head in a virtual trivia challenge this autumn in support of industry charity NewstrAid.
Taking place on Thursday 15 October at 4pm, the NewstrAid Trivia Challenge, sponsored by Newsteam, will bring together colleagues from across the newspaper and magazine sale and distribution sectors for an afternoon of fun, teamwork and friendly competition.
The virtual event will pit teams from across the trade against each other in a series of high-energy trivia rounds, interactive photo and video challenges, and time-pressured tasks designed to test knowledge, creativity and collaboration.
Participants can join from the office, home or any chosen venue, using a smartphone and laptop to compete for the coveted title of Ultimate Trivia Challenge Champions and a £200 prize.
All proceeds from the event will support NewstrAid's work helping people across the industry who are facing financial hardship, emotional challenges or practical difficulties.

The challenge begins with a short briefing before teams move into virtual breakout rooms for 30 minutes of gameplay. Points are awarded for correct answers, creativity and teamwork, with the highest-scoring team crowned the winner during a closing results session.
Entry costs £10 per person or £50 for a team of six.
