NewstrAid has announced that News UK has renewed its corporate sponsorship of the charity for a further 12 months, reaffirming its commitment to supporting people across the newspaper and magazine industry.
The renewed sponsorship will help NewstrAid continue its vital work providing financial, emotional and practical support to current and former industry colleagues facing challenging circumstances. The charity supports hundreds of people each year through services including financial assistance, emotional wellbeing support and practical guidance during times of need.
The newspaper and magazine industry continues to face significant change and economic pressures, making NewstrAid’s services more important than ever for those experiencing hardship, illness, bereavement, redundancy or other personal challenges.
"We are incredibly grateful to News UK for renewing its corporate sponsorship and for its ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of people across our industry," said Neil Jagger, CEO of NewstrAid. "This support enables us to continue providing a lifeline to colleagues and former colleagues when they need it most. Whether someone is facing financial difficulties, struggling with their mental health, or dealing with a major life challenge, NewstrAid is there to offer practical help, emotional support and reassurance. Partnerships like this play a crucial role in ensuring we can continue delivering these services across the newspaper and magazine sector."

The charity provides essential services to current and former colleagues navigating difficult circumstances, and we are pleased to renew our corporate sponsorship for another year.
