Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has appointed Asahi UK as its new Official Beer Partner and Supplier at Lord’s Cricket Ground, in a multiyear agreement that will introduce an enhanced, premium beer experience for Members and visitors.

From May 2026, Members and visitors at Lord’s will be able to enjoy a refreshed and premium beer offering in various areas of the Ground, featuring brands such as Peroni Nastro Azzurro (available in all areas of the Ground), Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%, Meantime Craft Beer, Fuller’s new Pride Lager and the return of its popular amber ale, Fuller’s London Pride. In terms of alcohol-by-volume (ABV), this selection represents expanded depth and breadth of choice to customers at Lord’s, accommodating all tastes.

Asahi UK has been selected for its capability to deliver a best-in-class matchday experience for over half a million Members and visitors at Lord’s each summer, ensuring reliability of supply, innovation in product range – including no and low alcohol options – and long-term commercial value for the Club.

Asahi UK’s partnership portfolio demonstrates a clear strength across all criteria, including a strong ability to support the operational demands of an international cricket venue, innovative dispensing infrastructure, and a diverse, high-quality portfolio of beers appealing to a range of consumers. Asahi UK already partners with several leading venues across the UK, including Ascot and Royal Ascot, Emirates Stadium, Etihad Stadium and Soho House & Co. The multi-year collaboration at Lord’s will become Asahi UK’s exclusive professional cricket venue partnership.

“We are delighted to welcome Asahi UK as our new Official Beer Partner at Lord’s," said Robert Lawson, Chief Executive & Secretary of MCC. "Throughout the tender process, Asahi showed a clear understanding of what makes Lord’s unique and a commitment to elevating the experience for our Members and visitors.

“The quality and breadth of their portfolio, combined with their operational expertise, made them the outstanding choice. We are particularly pleased to see the return of London Pride, a favourite for many at the Ground. This partnership ensures we can continue delivering an exceptional food and beverage experience during what promises to be another memorable season at the Home of Cricket.”

Robert Hobart, Marketing Director for Asahi UK, said: “Partnering with MCC at Lord’s presents a unique opportunity for Asahi UK to showcase our premium portfolio at one of the most iconic venues in world sport. From a crisp Peroni Nastro Azzurro to locally brewed favourites from Fuller’s and Meantime, as well as high-quality non-alcoholic options, we look forward to helping creating many memorable moments for fans at the Home of Cricket.”

MCC will also mark the new partnership with the launch of its first-ever MCC ale, Old Father Time (4.1%), which was selected by Members and will be available in Members’ Bars during the season.
