Magners is getting ready for a summer of comedy with the launch of its “Share the Craic” competition which hopes to find the next stand-up star.

The Share the Craic comedy search will spotlight emerging comedians, offering a major platform for new voices in comedy and the chance to win a month-long, funded slot on stage with Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe 2026.

The comedy search is now live and will feature a range of regional heats taking place nationwide with the final at Underbelly Boulevard Soho, London on 30 June, where the winner will be awarded a coveted run at Underbelly’s Wee Coo at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Share the Craic will be supported with PR and digital activity, out of home as well as activated in both the on and off trade. This includes in-store and retail media, digital media, POS and a special on pack promotion live across grocery and convenience.

Live from the 1 May for 17 weeks (until 31 August), the on-pack will give consumers the chance to win one of three headline prizes for a four-night comedy getaway in Dublin and Belfast. There will also be more than 500 daily prizes up for grabs in the scan to win promotion including Ticketmaster vouchers and Share the Craic hampers.
