Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I is expanding its Lucozade Energy range with the launch of Lucozade Energy Sherbet Twist Zero Sugar, a new flavour bringing a zingy, refreshing twist to the range.
Available across grocery and convenience channels, the new zero sugar variant will roll out in a 500ml PMP and standard pack.
The launch builds on the continued growth of Lucozade Energy, which generated £395.3m in value sales over the last year, with 211.4 million units sold and value sales up 2.6 per cent year-on-year.
Flavour innovation has also created momentum for the brand, with fan-favourite Lucozade Energy Grafruitti returning permanently to the range earlier this year, and has generated £8.8m in value sales since launch.
"Sherbet Twist is all about bringing something fun and unexpected to shoppers while staying true to the great taste and refreshment people expect from the Lucozade brand,” said Adrian O'Brien, Brand Director for Lucozade. “We know consumers are actively looking for new and exciting flavour experiences, particularly within zero sugar.
“Sherbet Twist gives retailers a fresh way to engage shoppers, drive trial and recruit new consumers into the category. It's a drink that stands out on shelf and taps into the nostalgic taste trend we continue to see resonate."
SBF GB&I is also expanding the Lucozade portfolio with the launch of several new formats across some of its most popular drinks this autumn. On the back of the successful return of Lucozade Energy Grafruitti, a new 900ml PMP and 500ml standard four-pack for the flavour has launched. Lucozade Energy Zero Sugar Pink Lemonade has also launched in a 900ml standard format. All SKUs are available now.
