LU ropes in TV presenter Fred Sirieix for first UK campaign

French biscuit brand LU has partnered with TV Presenter Fred Sirieix to celebrate the launch of its range of delectable biscuits in its first UK marketing campaign, Taste the Love.

LU biscuits offer shoppers a quintessential taste of France to enjoy at home with simple, authentic ingredients and inspired by traditional French recipes. The sentiment of having ‘French passion baked in’ runs throughout the heart of the 30-second TVC, in which Fred encourages the nation to ‘Taste the Love’ baked into every LU biscuit.


Mondelēz International, the brand owner, said a multi-layered marketing campaign, also starring Fred, will follow the TVC launch, focussing on’ turning afternoon lulls into afternoon LUs’.

The campaign will be supported by a dedicated influencer programme, radio, OOH, digital, social, and partnership activations.
