One of the UK's biggest indie forecourt operator Karan Retail Ltd has brought its first set of sites into the JET network.
Two sites, JET Chidswell Service Station, in West Yorkshire, and JET Menstrie Service Station, in Stirling, Scotland, came into Karan’s ownership today (June 30). Crowborough Service Station, in East Sussex, was rebranded to JET and became fully contracted on May 12 this year.
The move marks the next stage in Karan Retail’s relationship with JET, after it stepped in to supply fuel to Crowborough Service Station during the disruption that followed the administration of Harvest Energy and the wider Prax liquidation last year.
The focus is now shifting from immediate support and continuity to longer-term growth with the JET brand. Crowborough Service Station is a new-to-JET site for Karan Retail.
Chidswell Service Station and Menstrie Service Station were already JET-branded sites before becoming part of the Karan portfolio, following their purchase from independent dealers. The Menstrie Service Station image will also be refreshed once planned works on site have been completed, likely in the next few months.
