JTI has announced the launch of a UK-first lemon-flavoured cigarillo, Sterling Dual Capsule Xtra Yellow, offering an innovative new flavour experience for existing cigarillo smokers.
Rolling out across wholesale and JTI360 from July, Sterling Dual Capsule Xtra Yellow features a lemon capsule in the filter, which existing adult smokers can click to release a Lemon flavour, in addition to the existing peppermint capsule – providing more flavour options.
Backed by research which demonstrates the proven success of the lemon flavour in other categories, including Flavoured Vapes where it ranks as the third most popular, this launch provides retailers with an alternative option to meet the continued demand for new flavours. The new Sterling Dual Capsule Xtra Yellow joins a successful category which experienced strong growth in 2024 and is now worth £14 million per month, and builds on the success of the popular Double Capsule – which features a Berry flavour.
The launch further expands the already successful Sterling family, which includes the Sterling Dual Capsule Leaf Wrapped cigarillo – the UK’s number one cigarillo brand with a 93.6 per cent share of the UK cigarillo market.

Sterling Dual Capsule Xtra Yellow allows retailers to tap into the current value trend, with an affordable RRP of £6.95 and a 10-stick pack size. Furthermore, retailers will have access to an introductory 20 per cent POR in wholesale and via JTI 360 from the beginning of July, so they should stock up now to take advantage of this opportunity.
