iPRO healthy hydration forms partnership with Royal Voluntary Service

iPRO is partnering with the Royal Voluntary Service to launch iPRO Hydrate into retail and catering sites nationwide. Royal Voluntary Service is one of Britain’s largest volunteering charities, supporting the NHS and thousands of vulnerable people.

While they’ve been operating retail and catering solutions in healthcare since 1938, it’s their charity work and dedication to community that sets them apart. Above all else, they reinvest profits back into their incredible charitable work and initiatives.

The partnership ties one of Britain’s largest charities with the UK’s leading healthy hydration brand at a time when low-calorie and low-sugar drinks are in high demand – particularly in healthcare settings such as hospitals and care homes.

In 2021, iPRO partnered with parkrun, the UK’s largest NHS social prescribed activity, and collaborated on a range of NHS CQUIN approved drinks. Recommended by parkrun, iPRO Hydrate is now one of the healthiest hydration drinks on the market, scoring 0 under HFSS guidelines.

Available in all Royal Voluntary Service retail and catering sites, customers will be able to purchase iPRO Hydrate in Orange & Pineapple, Berry Mix and Citrus Blend flavours as part of the meal deal.

iPRO Hydrate is enriched with vitamin C and essential vitamins B5, B6, B7, and B12 for an immune system boost. The entire range contains less than 3g of sugar per 100ml.

"Royal Voluntary Service is pleased to partner with iPRO and make healthy hydration

accessible to those visiting our sites,” said Hazel Harkness, Buying Manager at Royal Voluntary Service. “The parkrun edition range is a testament to the brand’s commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyles, ticking all the boxes as NHS CQUIN and HFSS Compliant. We hope to inspire more people to stay active and keep hydrated.”

Razina Moosa, Head of Out of Home, commented: “We're delighted to partner with Royal Voluntary Service and make staying hydrated easier for those in and around healthcare facilities. This partnership comes at a time when visitors want more than just accessible hydration; they want healthy and nutritious choices too. And we’re thrilled to be their chosen brand to meet this demand.”

New for 2023 and aligned with next year’s Single-Use Plastics Directive, iPRO Hydrate is packaged in 30 per cent rPET bottles with a new white tethered cap that is easier to recycle and remains attached even after the bottle has been opened.
