Hot Smoked introduces new wood chips range

Hot Smoked, one of the UK’s premier food smoking brands, has unveiled a new range of Premium Smoking Chips Boxes for hot smoking on a regular barbecue.

Available in eight flavours, each box also features tips, techniques and recipes printed on the outside so that the user is guided through the whole process of hot smoking.


Flavours span subtle to more robust smoke strengths and include Alder, Beech, Apple, Cherry, Maple, Hickory, Oak and Whisky Barrel.

Dispelling the impression that hot smoking is a bit technical, these boxes of chips will open up a brand new experience of hot smoking as no specialist kit is required, just a regular barbecue, and a touch of culinary adventure. Simply sprinkle the chips on the white hot coals, or protect in a smoker box.

Each box contains pure hardwood or fruitwood smoking chips. The woods are FSC certified and sourced sustainably from managed woodlands and orchards. They are produced specifically for food smoking and their 6 to 10mm size is optimum for hot smoking projects. The box packaging is fully recyclable.

Premium Smoking Chip Boxes retail at £7 per box or £52 for the range of eight flavours.
