Hellmann's has teamed up with Irish luxury accessories brand Maya Grisham to transform its iconic mayonnaise jar into a bespoke, hand-crystallised luxury handbag, bringing together two brands in an unexpected celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and playful design.
Commissioned by Hellmann's, the one-of-a-kind creation reimagines the instantly recognisable mayonnaise jar as a statement fashion accessory, combining the food brand's distinctive identity with Maya Grisham's signature crystal craftsmanship.
Known for transforming familiar cultural references into collectible luxury pieces, Maya Grisham specialises in handcrafted, crystal-embellished handbags and accessories that blur the lines between fashion, art and everyday objects.
The collaboration reflects the brand's distinctive approach to luxury, taking something ordinary and transforming it into an extraordinary piece through intricate craftsmanship, humour and sparkle.
Founded by designer and creative director Kimberly Tino, Maya Grisham has developed a growing reputation for its unconventional designs, with collections featuring crystal interpretations of pints of beer, Kerrygold butter and Quality Street chocolates.
The brand has also created bespoke pieces for major names including Jameson, Pepsi, Johnnie Walker and Keelings, bringing its playful design philosophy to a range of high-profile collaborations.
The latest partnership with Hellmann's demonstrates how recognisable consumer brands can be reimagined through fashion and craftsmanship, creating distinctive pieces that celebrate brand heritage while introducing familiar products to new audiences.
Kimberly Tino, Founder and Creative Director of Maya Grisham, said: “Working with Hellmann’s has been such an exciting collaboration for Maya Grisham. It’s an iconic brand that so many of us instantly recognise, and being able to reinterpret something as familiar as a jar of Hellmann’s mayonnaise through our world of crystals, craftsmanship and statement design has been incredibly fun.
"I love taking everyday icons and transforming them into something completely unexpected, and this collaboration really allowed us to do that.”
