NCR Atleos Corporation has renewed its long-standing partnership with Heart of England Co-operative, securing a five-year extension that includes a comprehensive upgrade of the retailer’s 35-site ATM estate.
The renewed agreement will see Heart of England continue to use NCR Atleos’ retail network solution, combining hardware, software and managed services to deliver high ATM availability and service levels. The investment underlines both organisations’ commitment to maintaining convenient, free-to-use access to cash for communities across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Steve Browne, chief executive of Heart of England Co-operative, said free access to cash remains central to the society’s mission. He added: “NCR Atleos has been a trusted partner since 2015, and their expertise and reliability make them the ideal choice as we continue to serve our communities.”
Neil Martin, area managing director for the UK at NCR Atleos, said the collaboration would help ensure local residents retain easy access to cash while the retailer benefits from operational excellence and innovation. “Together, we’re ensuring that communities across Coventry and Warwickshire have convenient access to cash, while delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of retailers and consumers,” he said.
As part of the upgrade programme, the refreshed ATM network is designed to improve reliability and deliver more digital-first self-service experiences for shoppers. For Heart of England Co-operative, the enhanced estate is also expected to help drive footfall to stores while supporting the group’s wider strategic priorities.
