Gold Standard Nutrition adds Panko Chicken to offer and begins trials in Co-op, Spar

Gold Standard Nutrition adds Panko Chicken to offer and begins trials in Co-op, Spar
@kluens

Today Gold Standard Nutrition (GSN) is enjoying meteoric growth, forging an enviable pathway as a leading light within frozen ready meals for younger, health-conscious consumers. From the very outset the vision was create a young, dynamic business that gave equal weighting to healthier conviction mealtimes (high in protein, low in sugar & salt), taste and convenience.

“Initially, our Panko Chicken first gained a cult following on account of its starring role within our top-selling Chicken Katsu curry pot,” said founder, Craig Allen. “Brand die-hards were forever telling us that it would make a welcome standalone addition to our Chicken Bites range, so we finally heeded their advice and took a leap of faith. As an unconventional ready meal provider that first made its name within the UK’s vibrant indie gym scene, GSN has quickly extended its reach into B2C, foodservice sites (university campuses, army barracks and the NHS). Understandably the business’s ever evolving retail landscape is now leading to a rapid escalation in interest in our larger 1kg family pack meal formats.’

This May sees Gold Standard Nutrition’s secure step-change trial listings within bricks and mortar stores (Co-ops and Spars), a new strand of business which highlights the untapped potential of the brand’s health-conscious range.

Gold Standard Nutrition is probably best known for its on-the-go Pots of Gold meals and generously proportioned Wraps, but increasing sales of the business’s pioneering steamed Chicken Bites are a result of GSN’s continually spreading retail channel net.

Today GSN is a business with reach and mealtime influence that covers every health-conscious outpost from gyms, Royal Marines barracks, university campuses, police stations, ambulance & fire stations through to delis, convenience stores, garage forecourts and now chains.

The NEW Panko Chicken will sit alongside 1kg bags of Salt & Pepper Chicken Bites, Spicy Fajita and Smokey Hickory BBQ
