Galaxy Hot Chocolate unveils £150k winter OOH push

With 35 per cent of hot chocolate sales taking place in the final quarter of the year, Mars Drinks & Treats (MD&T) is set to make the most of the golden quarter with a £150k out-of-home (OOH) campaign celebrating the Galaxy Hot Chocolate range.

Eye-catching new creatives featuring Galaxy Instant, Galaxy Light and Galaxy Drinking Chocolate will appear across roadside and point-of-sale panels, designed to boost awareness and drive purchases during the key seasonal period.


The campaign is forecast to deliver more than 26 million impressions.

“We believe that with the nights drawing in and the arrival of colder weather, reminding shoppers about the Galaxy Hot Chocolate range before and while they shop will help drive incremental sales,” Kerry Cavanaugh, general manager at Mars Drinks & Treats.

The range’s hero product, Galaxy Instant, has seen sales grow year on year by 30.7 per cent.
