Fox’s Fabulous Chocolatey drives sales with Craig Revel Horwood-fronted campaign

Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC) has launched a brand-new campaign for its Fox’s Fabulous Chocolatey brand fronted by Craig Revel Horwood, designed to inspire Brits to take some "me" time and drive sales of premium biscuits.

The campaign comes as research from the brand revealed that nearly half of Brits (47 per cent) say they get less “me time” now than they did five years ago and just 36 per cent of people manage to take a moment for themselves every day.

That’s why Fox’s Fabulous Chocolatey, the biscuit brand that believes a little indulgence goes a long way, has teamed up with the king of fabulous himself, Craig Revel Horwood, to encourage Brits to put themselves first for once, without the guilt.

The campaign sees the Strictly star donning a chocolate face mask and encouraging Brits to take some time out of their day to treat themselves. Featuring across social media and in PR, the campaign gives consumers the opportunity to win a £1000 spa voucher for the ultimate me time moment and has amassed over three million views already.

Developed with the Fox’s Fabulous Chocolatey core target audience in mind, the activity is designed to add further sales to the booming premium treats category, worth £392.6M.

“Premium indulgence is a trend that’s not going anywhere – but the research tells us that customers need reminding now and then to take some ‘me time’ and treat themselves,” said Isobel Farthing, Assistant Brand Manager at Fox’s Fabulous Chocolatey. “And who better to remind them than the fan favourite, fabulous Craig Revel Horwood!”

Revel Horwood added: “Darling, if you’re not treating yourself, then what are you doing! Life is far too short not to take time for yourself to unwind and indulge. That’s why I’m thrilled to partner with Fox’s Fabulous Chocolatey – because frankly, we all deserve a moment that’s as rich, luxurious, and generous as these fabulous biscuits.”
