Co-op Wholesale has announced a new partnership with Sewell on the go, one of East Yorkshire’s most respected independent forecourt retailers.
Under a newly signed five-year agreement, Co-op Wholesale will become the full supply partner for 12 Sewell on the go convenience stores across Hull and East Yorkshire.
The business said the new partnership marks a “major milestone” in its strategy to support independent forecourt operators with market-leading products and convenience retail expertise.
Sewell on the go will retain its familiar fascia and strong local identity, whilst benefitting from an enhanced range including the introduction of Co-op’s own brand food-for-now and food-for-later products, bringing greater choice, quality, and convenience to forecourt retail.

Sewell on the go, the retail arm of Sewell Group, operates multiple fuel stations and convenience stores across Hull and East Yorkshire, serving over four million customers annually.
Earlier in April, Co-op Wholesale has confirmed a multi-year contract with leading UK motorway service area operator Roadchef, and the two companies began a nationwide store rollout in June.
