Compleat Food Group ropes in industry veteran Judith Batchelar as strategic adviser

Leading food manufacturer The Compleat Food Group has appointed Judith Batchelar as strategic adviser to its board, strengthening its leadership team to support the business’s growth journey.

Batchelar is widely recognised in the industry, having served as brand director at Sainsbury’s for 17 years and in senior positions at Safeway and Marks & Spencer. She is a biochemist and nutritionist by training, now serving as a trustee, advisor and non-executive director in several high-profile consultancy roles.


She was awarded the OBE in 2015 for her services to the farming and food industry.

In her role as strategic advisor, Batchelar will work closely with The Compleat Food Group’s board across technical, health and safety, sustainability, product, innovation and brand disciplines.

Batchelar currently holds several prominent roles within food and agriculture, including honorary president of the British Nutrition Foundation.
