Premium Californian wine brand Carnivor has retained its position as the UK’s top Zinfandel in the off-trade, according to Nielsen data.
Carnivor, which has taken the top spot back in 2018, continued the good performance to 2019, with their Zinfandel having the fifth highest repeat purchase rate of all premium still red wines.
Part of E&J Gallo Winery’s premium portfolio, Carnivor is currently the No. 3 premium USA brand (£7+) with volume up 39 percent (Nielsen).
The brand said it is set for a strong 2020, with exciting partnerships in the works that they will be able to reveal this spring.
Carnivor Zinfandel (RRP: (£10. ABV: 14.5%) is available nationwide from all major wholesalers across the UK.
