Carlsberg on Tuesday reported higher first quarter revenue as the volume of beverages grew in all of the Danish brewer's regions.
The Danish company said revenue reached 20.7 billion Danish kroner (£2.40bn) in the first quarter of the year, up three percent compared to a year earlier.
The company releases profit only every other quarter, as permitted by the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
"We delivered a good start to 2026 with organic volume and revenue growth in all three regions, strong results for our strategic category growth drivers - premium beer, soft drinks and alcohol-free brews," CEO Jacob Aarup-Andersen said in a statement.
Carlsberg said the volume of beverages sold grew 5.3 percent overall, helped by soft drinks, which grew by 10 percent.
It also maintained its outlook for the full year, targeting organic growth of two to six percent for its operating profit.
Last week, the company said it was expanding its partnership with Pepsi across the Nordics and the Baltic states.
"Carlsberg has for more than 25 years been the PepsiCo bottler in Sweden and Norway. With the new agreement, the partnership is extended to include all Nordic markets as well as the Baltic states" as of 2029, the company said in a statement last week.
In addition to its flagship Carlsberg brand, the Danish group sells Brooklyn, Kronenbourg 1664 and Tuborg.
